The American Board can help you change careers and become a teacher in Nevada. In February 2011, the Nevada Department of Education approved the American Board as a state approved alternative route to teacher licensure.

The American Board program completers are qualified for a Conditional Special Qualifications license. The Nevada Department of Education fully recognizes the American Board certification for all school districts, charter and private schools in the state.
