About Our Staff

The American Board for Certification of Teacher Excellence (ABCTE) is headquartered in Washington, DC and governed by a board of directors. ABCTE's President, David W. Saba, leads the organization's staff of 35. In addition to our full-time team, the organization collaborates with hundreds of teachers, policymakers and other subject-matter experts every year to develop its certification programs.
